Safety Program

“Luck runs out, but safety is good for life.”

Phoenix Crane has carefully crafted a strong Safety Culture through more than 35 years of innovation and discipline. We pride ourselves on being an Industry leader and work hard every day to set safe examples for the Crane Industry. We always aim to provide the safest environment for our employee’s and the absolute best crane rental experience for our customers.

Phoenix Crane was the first Crane Rental Company in Georgia to train and test our employee’s knowledge on Industry Standards and Crane Lift capacities. All of our operators are required to have valid NCCCO (National Commission For The Certification of Crane Operators) Certifications.

NCCCO Mission: To develop effective performance standards for those who work in and around cranes; provide fair, valid, and reliable assessments of their knowledge and skill; and act as an authoritative industry resource of related information.

NCCCO Vision: A global lifting environment in which safety is enhanced by reducing crane and crane-related risks, improving performance records, and stimulating training.

Upholding our high standards, and in addition to NCCCO certification, our crane operators receive equipment-specific certifications through our Safety and Operations departments. They earn and maintain DOT Commercial Driver Medical Exam cards that declare them physically qualified to drive and to operate cranes and heavy equipment. Phoenix Crane operators average over 8 years of experience with our company alone, and over 14,000 hours of crane operation experience.

Most companies that are serious about Safety and Hazard Prevention have implemented Safety Management Systems (SMS) into their daily operations. Safety Management Systems are in place to: identify hazards, mitigate the risks associated with those hazards, collect safety data and use the data collected to improve the safety of operations. Phoenix Crane requires its employees to implement SMS daily. We promote Safety through innovative training and reward our employee’s efforts through various recognition programs.

Phoenix Crane has a Safety and Compliance Manager available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to assist you with your safety needs and to solve any problems that might arise. Our Safety Program and Culture has been meticulously developed over time and continues to grow and mature on a regular basis.  Due to our rigorous standards, Phoenix Crane offers:
