Earlier this year, Phoenix Crane’s annual “Crane Rodeo” planning committee decided to offer advertising space on our 40-ton pink Terex as a way to raise additional funds for our partnership with the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Since 2013, our Pink Crane and annual Crane Rodeo community event has raised over $192,000! In 2015, Phoenix Crane Rental revived a long-lost employee event that, as it turns out, our entire Phoenix family was very happy to participate in and request again, so we decided to resurrect our Crane Rodeo to promote and raise funds for the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer.
We are in our 3rd year of the Crane Rodeo and hope this will continue as an annual event that will grow over time as we spread the word about our favorite local nonprofit. We are still donating 10% of our Pink Crane rentals to the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, and have raised over $192,000 to date. We’ve also been lucky enough to make Pink Crane appearances this year at the Kennesaw Touch-a-Truck in June and at the Marietta Freedom Parade in July and will have the crane located at the second “Breast Stop” a the 2-Day Walk on Sunday, November 12th in Atlanta. The more we get involved and the more people recognize our Pink Crane, the higher the impact we have on getting big grants in the hands of the nonprofit cancer treatment centers in Georgia that need it the most. We love the fact that It’s The Journey’s motto is “What’s Raised in Georgia, Stays in Georgia”.
